Ilham Aliyev attended the opening of the Youth Center in Agjabadi

On August 29, 2013, President Ilham Aliyev participated in the opening of the Youth Center in Aghjabadi. The Head of State cut the ribbon symbolizing the opening of the center and familiarized himself with the conditions created there. The President of Azerbaijan was informed that the construction of the building began in July last year and was completed in August this year. The Youth Center, which is one of the most beautiful buildings in the city, has a total area of three thousand square meters.

In the lobby of the center, there are corners consisting of photos reflecting various moments of the socio-political activities of national leader Heydar Aliyev and President Ilham Aliyev, as well as their meetings with youth. The main purpose of establishing the center is to promote scientific and technical knowledge among teenagers, increase their scientific and creative initiatives, and discover talented youth in this field. There is a separate internet room for this purpose. All computers are connected to the internet. Organizing special courses on computer skills and foreign languages is also planned at the Youth Center.

Here, there are also meeting and assembly halls, a shooting room, a 3D cinema, a language lab (lingaphone room), an electronic library, and other auxiliary rooms. In the shooting gallery equipped with modern equipment, purposeful work will be carried out to provide initial training for young people in this field and to improve their skills in firing interactive pneumatic rifles. A modern acoustic system has been installed in the disco bar operating on this floor. A games hall has been created on the first floor of the building. Various types of game machines, a four-lane bowling alley, and a "Labyrinth" play corner for children will operate here. A youth cafe has been established on the second floor. It was stated that books dedicated to the political activities of the great leader Heydar Aliyev and President Ilham Aliyev, as well as books for children and other fields, have been collected in the fund of the electronic library. In short, the center will play an important role in the efficient organization of youth's leisure time and in increasing their social activity. After touring the Youth Center, President Ilham Aliyev gave his instructions and recommendations.
