Residential complex in Absheron district
About the project
In the first phase, a land area of 17.5 hectares was utilized to accommodate 1,000 families. According to the project, 7-story residential buildings were constructed, including 23 buildings with 42 apartments each and one building with 35 apartments. In the new residential complex, which includes a school and a kindergarten, other essential infrastructure facilities—such as a club-community center, a medical point, and an automatic telephone station (ATS) building—were built, a recreation park was established, and children's playgrounds were created. Extensive landscaping and greening works were carried out in the area. During the establishment of the complex, special attention was paid to the installation of electricity, water, gas, heating, and irrigation systems, as well as communication and television networks.

The Head of State was informed that this residential complex is the 101st settlement established for internally displaced persons across the country.
President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva familiarized themselves with the conditions created in the apartments of the new complex.
Subsequently, the Head of State and the First Lady viewed the conditions provided at the kindergarten.
After touring the school, President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva met with internally displaced persons.
The Head of State congratulated the residents on the occasion of the opening of the new settlement.
Speaking on behalf of the internally displaced persons, Nariman Hamidov, the father of a National Hero, and Agil Guliyev expressed the residents' gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva for the excellent conditions created.
