About the project
Within the framework of the reconstruction project carried out in Talish village of Aghdara district, the social infrastructure of the village has been restored in accordance with modern standards. Within the project, residential houses, an administrative building, a general education school, a kindergarten, and other social facilities were built or thoroughly reconstructed. Roads, engineering-communication lines, landscaping, and greening works were carried out in the village territory, and comprehensive conditions were created for the comfortable and safe living of the residents. The project was implemented and commissioned within the "Great Return" Program. It should be noted that Talish village is the first village restored in the Karabakh Economic Region.

It should be recalled that on October 4, 2021, the head of state raised the State Flag of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Flag Square in Talish village. Following its liberation, construction and restoration work was carried out in Talish village based on the instructions of the President of Azerbaijan, new houses were built, and the necessary infrastructure was established. Within the first phase of the renovation and restoration works in the village, landscaping was carried out in Flag Square. A recreation area and an observation deck were built at one of the highest points of Talish village for residents to spend their leisure time effectively.
As part of the works, 10 non-residential and public catering facilities were also restored and completely reconstructed. Landscaping was carried out around these facilities, one of which is an administrative building.
The existing two-story administrative building has been majorly renovated, and the roof was dismantled and reconstructed. The village square in the area in front of the administrative building was restored, and extensive landscaping work was carried out there. All communication systems of the building were reconstructed. The administrative building is equipped with fire alarm, communication, and video surveillance systems.
President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva also familiarized themselves with the conditions created in the kindergarten in Talish village. The single-story building of the kindergarten was also majorly renovated. All communication systems were reconstructed, and the building was equipped with fire alarm, communication, video surveillance, and emergency alert systems. The interior of the building is equipped with all necessary technical service equipment. A rubber-surfaced playground for children and two gazebos were built in the courtyard area. In short, comprehensive conditions have been created here for the little ones to spend their time interestingly and efficiently.
During the acquaintance with the school building for 78 students in Talish village, it was reported that the restoration and reconstruction of the two-story building had also been carried out. The roof was completely renewed, and the communication systems were reconstructed. The building is equipped with fire alarm, communication, bell, and video surveillance systems. On the first and second floors of the educational institution building, there are classrooms, medical and teachers' rooms, and on the attic floor, there is an assembly hall and a library. Artificial turf football and sports fields were created in the school's courtyard area.
